Modifying your Start-Up Items
Some program you installed automatically start up when you don't want it to? Isn't it appearing in your Startup folder? Well, disable it by using this tutorial..
Firstly, go Start >> Run >> MSConfig. You should see this dialog box below appear. Click the 'Startup' tab.
You should now find a list of all the applications that startup when you log in to your computer. Find the name of the program you want to disable and uncheck the checkbox next to the name of the application.
Next, press apply then press ok. You should get another dialog box like below.

You should always press 'Restart' but if you're in the middle of something or can't be bothered to restart then just click 'Exit without Restart' and the settings will be applied when you next log on.
