Community Update - April 14th - 14.04.09

As you can see, we've been hard at work and lots has been happening the past few days at Techtuts. Here's a quick update.

Ideas Contest - link
Going very well...some great prizes provided by Lewis! There have been very many good ideas posted and we look forward to seeing more come in. The contest has even brought up some good discussions about the future and past of Techtuts and what can be improved.

Logo Contest - link
Have a wide variety of logos submitted at 99designs. The contest seems to have generated a good amount of interest both with users here and at 99designs. Feel free to comment on the different designs you see and give your input..its all appreciated.

Updated Forum Skin
The forum skin is, as I type this, being worked on by Gold Killer (Adam). Definitely looking awesome, but feel free to voice your own opinion. We're also implementing a flash version of the logo in the next little bit which looks pretty cool.

Tutorials are UP!
All of the old tutorials have been activated as well as everything else on the front end (non-forum part) of the website. We encourage everyone to start writing and using the tutorials again.

Advertising
Techtuts is both buying and selling advertising. Lewis has generated many many high quality backlinks to the site over the past few days which will help with future SERPs and PR. We are also selling advertising, so if you are interested go ahead and click on the "Advertise Here" to see our rates.

"How can I help?"
Submit tutorials, post on the forums, link to techtuts from your website. Do whatever you'd like, every little bit helps.
